Leaders Shouldn’t Try to Do It All (& What to Do Instead)

If the current state of your ever-expanding to-do list feels like too much (and is only getting worse) you’re not alone! This Harvard Business Review article piqued my interest with its process for leaders to make time for the initiatives only you can do and take things off your calendar that someone else can do better

While I say YES to prioritizing, let’s be real: Leaders have to be absolutely certain the most critical things get done (and done well). The best way I know to do that is to assign them according to strengths. 

Prioritizing according to strengths means you do the things that give the most value to the organization and to you, and the rest of your team does the same. It’s a method proven to drive satisfaction, engagement AND results.
